Why teach kids to dance??

I am about to work on a digital story/mocvie for my tech in ed course. That is what lead me to this site as well. I am looking for ways to tie dance into the NETS standards so I can make my digistory about swing dancing. It will always be a part of me and I will always want to share it with any students in the schools that I teach. So I must prove what swing dancing fullfills in the standards in state and county school districts.
