Swing Dance and Relationships... A match made in Heaven?

Since I started swing dancing in October 2007 men i have dated find a problem with me going to swing dance events. It really doesnt seem to matter whether they swing dance or not. It's always the same thing. Does attending swing dance events really put a strain on romatic relationships? Why or Why not? Is anyone having the same problem? 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Okay everybody lets try this again. I do not know why it is like that, but men can meet you in the club and as they start to date you and you get to know them then they change. I think that its the fact that they do not want anybody else to hit on you. From my experience it can be a problem cause I have to be n the know, so I have to be out there. But a secure man would not have a problem with that. As long as you make him feel like he is number 1 and respect him it should be okay.

Ok well I have been in this dance for a looooooooooong time! And yes you can have a match made Heaven. But its is all dependant upon a few things.First know who you are! Know what you want. Know what you are worth. And do not settle! A man who is really interested in the things I mentioned above will respect you and your hobbies. I think that there is someone out there for everyone weather its in or out of swing. Just know who you are dealing with, take your time, be yourself and accept people for who they are. I think that is the best thing to do in any relationship. It can be tough out here but It is very possible! Only the strong survive. Line Dance Diva 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Thanks for the reply Denise. I agree that the guy should feel like he is number 1. I just found the time to view some of the pictures on swingsation and it is nice to see couples who are secure with their relationship. Its a beautiful thing. Big ups to those who can get it together.
